Liza Craig

Liza Craig is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School and a practicing attorney at Goodwin Proctor LLP’s Global Trade Practice in Washington, DC, where she leads the government contracts and grants team.

Her expertise spans government procurement law, with extensive experience in weapon systems and IT procurements, bid protests before the Government Accountability Office, cybersecurity compliance, technical data rights, and fiscal law. She advises clients on complex contract disputes, compliance matters, and non-traditional procurement instruments like Other Transaction Authority agreements.

Admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and courts including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, she previously served as Deputy Chair for Diversity Equity & Inclusion at Reed Smith LLP and provided counsel to Navy leadership during her decade-long tenure at the Department of the Navy Office of the General Counsel.
