Liz Sheen is a Senior Lecturer in Education (Early Years) and Programme Leader for Childhood Studies at Wrexham University. She supports childcare practitioners and non-traditional students in accessing higher education through blended learning approaches, including fully supported e-learning programs.
Prior to joining Wrexham University, Liz trained as a Primary School Teacher and held extensive higher education and training roles abroad. She most recently served in a development/support capacity for the National Childminding Association, focusing on professional growth for childcare providers.
Her work emphasizes inclusivity in education, bridging gaps for adult learners and early years practitioners. Beyond teaching, she contributes to curriculum design and digital learning initiatives tailored to non-traditional student populations.
