Her recent creative projects span a diverse range of media and themes—from character designs inspired by cult films like Big Trouble in Little China and The Princess Bride, to original animated concepts like Zodiac Riders, and interactive digital books such as Off to be the Wizard. These works reflect a strong emphasis on fantasy, narrative depth, and visual innovation, often blending literary, cinematic, and gaming influences.

Her professional journey includes leading art direction at Thekla, Inc., developing visual assets for an unannounced video game, and creating textile designs for the children’s brand Izzy & Ferd—featured in magazines and a national TV commercial. She continues to mentor students through her academic role while actively creating new work, including a current project combining HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to craft an interactive horror story that challenges the line between illustrated novel and video game.
Liz is involved in interdisciplinary creative practice, working across illustration, game art, textile design, and digital storytelling. Her studio practice functions as a dynamic lab for narrative experimentation, integrating traditional drawing, digital tools, and web technologies.
