Liz McNeill is an Associate Lecturer and PhD candidate at Flinders University's College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She holds qualifications in Nursing, Midwifery, and Education, and is actively involved in academic and professional networks such as the Australian College of Midwives and HERDSA.
Research Interests: Midwifery education, simulation-based learning, veteran health, gender/sexuality inclusivity, and maternal care. Her work bridges clinical expertise with innovative teaching methods, particularly focusing on simulation design and interprofessional collaboration.
Leadership & Engagement: Founded Flinders' Pride Network, creator of the 'PhD Midwives' social media group, and key member of initiatives like the Open Door Initiative for veterans. Hosts the 'Thru the Pinard' podcast to disseminate midwifery research globally.
