Dr Liz McLoughlin is a Lecturer and Programme Chair at the School of Psychology, Dublin City University, where she has worked since September 2008. She also served as a Training Consultant at HSE (August 2007–August 2008) and as Director of the Village Project, Day Assessment Service (October 2000–January 2006).

- PhD in Psychology (Usher Fellow), University of Dublin, Trinity College (1995–1999)
- BSc in Psychology (1st Class Hons), University of London, Goldsmiths College (1990–1993)
