Liz Conor is an Associate Professor in History at La Trobe University, based in the Department of Archaeology and History within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She recently completed an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship as Chief Investigator for the Graphic Encounters research project focusing on colonial prints and Indigenous Australian representation.

Her research spans Aboriginal and Indigenous history, visual cultures, gender studies, and climate activism, with significant contributions to understanding colonial representations of Aboriginal women, body image in consumer society, and 1920s feminist visibility.
