Liz Brown is a tenured Professor in the Law Department at Bentley University, where she also serves as Vice President of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business and Co-Chair of the Bentley Learning and Teaching Council. She holds a J.D. (cum laude) and an A.B. from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude as a John Harvard Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa.

She has explored issues like wearable sensor data regulation, conflicts between civil rights and religious freedom, and gender discrimination in digital monitoring.
Recent publications highlight workplace privacy challenges, gender equity, and legal frameworks for technology. Her work combines Employment Law, Data Privacy, and Intellectual Property to address emerging ethical dilemmas in business and technology.
