Livia Quaresmini serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Design Department at Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) since 2023, where she teaches Fashion Studio and Fashion Illustration I & II. She also teaches at Lorenzo De' Medici, The Italian International Institute in the Fashion Design, Marketing and Merchandising department since 2015.
Her research interests focus on fashion design, sustainable fashion practices, costume history, and fashion illustration. With a strong commitment to eco-conscious design, Quaresmini creates an immersive learning environment that marries practical industry knowledge with academic challenges, emphasizing sustainability in fashion education.
Her professional development includes completing the 'Fashion and Sustainability' certificate program at the University of the Arts London in 2019 and a course on 'Fashion's Future' with FASHION REVOLUTION in 2020.
As an educator and practitioner, she brings extensive industry experience to her teaching, having worked as a designer for independent fashion labels and as a vintage and costume jewelry expert in Florence.
