Liucija Fosseli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Popular Music, University of Agder, Norway. She holds a First Class Bachelor of Science in Events Management with Arts and Entertainment from Sheffield Hallam University (UK) and a Master of Arts from the University of Agder.
- Research Focus: Popular Music, Cultural and Creative Industries, Songwriting Business, Copyright, and the Chinese Music Industry.
- Projects: Co-founder and manager of the International Songwriting Camp Hooklab; production manager for Sørveiv Music and Conference; former guest coordinator for Kristiansand International Children's Film Festival (Barnefilmfestivalen).
- Current Work: PhD candidate since 2020, researching international songwriters' business strategies targeting the Chinese market.
- Publications: Contributor to Innovation in Music: Cultures and Contexts (2024), focusing on business model innovation in the music industry.
