Lita Crociani-Windland

Dr Lita Crociani-Windland is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Psycho-Social Studies at the University of the West of England (UWE), affiliated with the Health and Social Sciences Department. She leads the Psycho-Social Studies and Therapeutic Practices theme within UWE's Social Science Research Group and serves as Co-Chair of the US-based Association for the Psychoanalysis of Culture and Society.

• Expertise in psycho-social methodologies, affect theory, continental philosophy, social pedagogy, and disability sociology
• Collaborates with Mulberry Bush School and Jacaranda Development
• Co-Founder of the Association for Psycho-Social Studies and active peer reviewer for academic journals

Her research, published as a book, focuses on psycho-social studies and organisational dynamics. She supervises doctoral students and has served as external examiner at Goldsmiths, University of London.

She has nurtured thousands of students through their first year at UWE and leads master’s programs in collaboration with specialist education providers.
