Liselle Terret is an Associate Professor of Performance at the University of East London's School of Arts and Creative Industries, where she co-leads the BA Drama, Applied Theatre & Performance program. Her practice-based research foregrounds neuro-divergent and learning-disabled perspectives through radical Crip, queer, feminist, and collaborative approaches, challenging theatrical norms around ability/disability binaries.

- Recipient of UEL's ACI Impactful Research Award (2019) and CELT Teaching Award (2018)

Her research focuses on emancipatory self-representation for neuro-divergent communities, with recent publications addressing systemic barriers in the arts sector and innovative pedagogical frameworks. Awards include Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Guardian University Award recognition.
