Lise Vesterlund is a Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of the Behavioral Economics Design Initiative and the Pittsburgh Experimental Economics Laboratory. Her research focuses on gender disparities in labor markets, particularly how women are often assigned low-status tasks, hindering their leadership opportunities. She co-authored the award-winning book The No Club, recognized as one of the best business books in 2022.
