Lise Moawad is a Researcher at the Robert-K.-Merton Centre for Science Studies, Humboldt University of Berlin, contributing to the "Diversity and Adaptability of Peer Review" (DivA) project since November 2020.
Her academic background includes:
- Master of Arts in Politics and Public Administration from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris I) and Universität Konstanz
- Master of Arts in German Studies from Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV)
Her research focuses on Federalism and Multi-Level-Governance, Comparative Educational Research, Political Theory, and Qualitative Methods including discourse and content analysis. The DivA project (2021-2023) examines metastability in peer review formats across academic evaluation systems.
Prior to her current role, Moawad served two years as a Policy Officer for Language and Education Cooperation at the French Embassy in Berlin for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEAE). She has presented research on Franco-German relations, including a 2016 colloquium at Universität des Saarlandes analyzing the creation of Germany's Federal Commissioner for Cultural Affairs and Media (BKM).
