Dr. Lise Hunter is a Lecturer in Operations & Supply Chain Management at Plymouth Business School, University of Plymouth. With a career spanning international finance, trade policy, and academia, she bridges practical experience with theoretical research. Her roles include programme lead for BSc Hons Management Practice Online Top-Up and external examiner at other institutions.

Her research focuses on SME competitiveness, supply chain resilience, and the intersection of social capital with financial performance in sectors like LNG, agri-food, and digital health. She has contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goals through studies on trade, education, and community well-being.
Recent work highlights transcultural barriers in eHealth SMEs, LNG supply chain strategies, and food safety frameworks. She supervises 8 PhD students and has completed 3 PhDs, emphasizing practical knowledge transfer for future industry needs.
