Dr Jonathan Lean is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Strategic Management at Plymouth Business School, part of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business at the University of Plymouth. He leads the BSc (Hons) International Management & Business programme and has extensive experience supervising over 30 PhD/DBA students. His research focuses on strategic management, simulation-based learning, entrepreneurial development, and the interplay between education and employability.
Research interests include business simulation gaming for managerial training, socio-cultural influences on consumer behavior, and policy analysis for innovation ecosystems.
