Her work bridges scholarly criticism and creative practice, making significant contributions to literary studies.
Williams's publications reveal a consistent engagement with women's voices across different literary forms, spanning historical fiction, poetry chapbooks, memoir, and literary criticism. Her most recent creative work, the historical novel "Forget Russia" (2020), demonstrates her continued evolution as both scholar and practitioner.
