Lisa Trivedi is the Christian A. Johnson Excellence in Teaching Professor of History at Hamilton College, specializing in modern South Asia, cultural history, and women's studies. She holds affiliations with the American Historical Association and Association for Asian Studies.

Her publications span topics in Indian nationalism, gender politics, and visual culture, with a focus on textiles and clothing as markers of identity. Articles often examine material culture, colonial economies, and the social implications of nationalist movements.
