Ms Lisa Samarkovski is a Lecturer at the TC Beirne School of Law, The University of Queensland. She teaches taxation law to postgraduate students in the Master of Commerce program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from UQ, a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor (Honours) of Law from Griffith University, and a Master of Taxation (Coursework) from UNSW.
Her research interests include taxation law, superannuation policy, legal education, academic effectiveness, and franchising regulations. Her publications span tax policy analysis, institutional academic practices, and legal frameworks governing franchising sectors.
Recent articles focus on retirement wealth through superannuation taxation, modern academic workforce dynamics, and regulatory challenges in franchising. She has contributed to tax law reviews addressing non-commercial losses and policy reforms.
Ms Samarkovski is not currently available for student supervision. Her professional contributions are centered within the School of Law’s academic and teaching initiatives.
