Lisa Sabatini

Lisa Sabatini is an Assistant Professor at the University of San Francisco's School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP), where she holds leadership roles such as Chair of the BSN Simulation Committee and Co-Chair of the Bay Area Simulation Collaborative. With over 38 years of healthcare experience, her expertise spans clinical practice, nursing education, and healthcare leadership. She is a triple alumnus of USF SONHP, earning her BSN (1983), MSN (2008), and DNP (2015) degrees there.

Her research focuses on telehealth and simulation-based education. She played a pivotal role in establishing simulation programs at SONHP and led the Clinical Performance and Simulation Center. Current roles include serving on the USF Board for Peninsula Silicon Valley and the Nursing Alumni Board.

Key achievements include the Al Alessandri Service Award (2013) and Dean’s Medal for Professionalism in Nursing (2008). Her work integrates clinical innovation with educational leadership, emphasizing nurse training through simulation and telehealth advancements.
