Dr. Jodi Kushner is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of San Francisco (USF), part of the Veteran Administration Advanced Practice Nursing (VANAP) program. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate levels and focuses on nursing education, particularly teaching strategies, learning styles, and supporting students with disabilities. Her DNP project emphasized increasing faculty knowledge and empathy in teaching students with learning disabilities. She has been an RN since 2008 with clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing and school nursing for special needs populations.

Research & Practice: Dr. Kushner’s interests include nursing simulation, educational philosophy emphasizing personalized learning, and adapting teaching methods to diverse student needs. She advocates for continuous evolution in education to shape future healthcare professionals.
