Krista Ollom-Klein

Dr. Krista Ollom-Klein is Associate Professor in the Nursing-BSN program at St. Catherine University's College for Women. She holds Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), RN, CNE, and CHSE credentials. Her clinical expertise includes medical-surgical acute care with specialization in neurological/neurosurgical and gastroenterology nursing.

Pedagogical focus centers on simulation-based education, clinical skills development, and nursing lab instruction. Conference presentations include mindfulness interventions to reduce simulation anxiety (2024 Midwest Interprofessional Conference) and interprofessional collaboration through simulation debriefing. She chairs university committees and mentors new faculty through advisory roles in the Institute of Simulation and Interprofessional Learning.
