She maintains active fieldwork programs in Italy and Spain and participates in forensic casework in Greece and Belize.
Her publications focus on combustion archaeology, forensic taphonomy, and digital methodologies in anthropology. Research demonstrates consistent innovation in analyzing thermally altered remains and addresses ethical dimensions of osteological research and teaching.
She received the Fulbright Specialist award in 2024 and maintains memberships in the Register of Professional Archaeologists, European Association of Archaeologists, Society for American Archaeology, and Rutgers Forensic Consortium.
