Lisa Kamarchik is an Associate Professor of Law at the North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she joined as a full-time faculty member in August 2016. She previously practiced family law and family law appeals in Wake County and surrounding areas and served as an adjunct legal writing professor at NCCU School of Law and a paralegal instructor at UNC Chapel-Hill.

- B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University (2000)
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from NCCU School of Law Evening Program (2006)
Her research focuses on Family Law, including parentage law, putative father protections, and legislative reforms. She also contributes to Torts literature, analyzing judicial precedents like the Daubert-Kumho decisions.
Her publications highlight trends in family law and legal standards in torts, particularly emphasizing the need for equitable parentage legislation and judicial clarity in product liability cases.

- Charles F. Blanchard Young Lawyer of the Year Award (2013) for volunteer service
She has coached client counseling teams in regional, national, and international competitions and serves as a volunteer judge for the Wake County Capital Area Teen Court. Her memberships include the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association Family Law Section, American Bar Association, and Legal Writing Institute.
