Lisa K. Rollins, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Virginia. With a PhD in Education from UVa, a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University, she has dedicated her career to advancing medical education and faculty development.

Her research focuses on improving educational practices and fostering scholarly activities among medical professionals, with additional interests in cancer prevention and sports medicine. Rollins actively supports faculty through curriculum design, educational evaluation, and grant-writing assistance. Outside academia, she enjoys the natural beauty of Charlottesville, music, antiques, and outdoor activities with her dogs Howie and Tucker and her Portuguese horse Nervo.
