Lisa Jones

Lisa Jones is an Associate Lecturer in the MSc Applied Positive Psychology program at Buckinghamshire New University, combining her expertise in psychology, human resources, and organizational development. She holds a Fine Art degree, advanced qualifications in HR and Employment Law, a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP), and is pursuing a part-time PhD in Positive Psychology at BNU. Her career spans 25 years in HR and OD, with roles as Head of HR in local government, where she integrated creativity and psychological principles into large-scale change initiatives and leadership coaching.

Her research interests focus on applying positive psychology to organizational and educational contexts, blending her creative background with evidence-based approaches. She also serves as a professional development coach, emphasizing growth and well-being in both academic and professional settings.

Lisa's teaching and coaching roles reflect her commitment to fostering enthusiasm and curiosity in her students and clients. She actively weaves creativity into her professional practices, maintaining a dynamic and engaging approach to her work.
