Lisa Hoppenjans is an Associate Professor of Practice and Director of the First Amendment Clinic at Washington University School of Law, where she represents clients in First Amendment, media law, and civil litigation matters. Her expertise includes constitutional law, freedom of speech, and appellate litigation, with a focus on defending rights of access to public fora and court records.

Professional Activities: She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Board Member of the St. Louis Bar Foundation, and serves on the Programming Committee of the Free Expression Legal Network. Her prior role as a newspaper reporter informs her interdisciplinary approach to media law.
