Lisa Farman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategic Communication at the Roy H Park School of Communications, Ithaca College, where she joined in 2014. She also serves as a Dana Teaching Fellow in the Center for Faculty Excellence, recognized for sustained contributions to pedagogy and scholarship, and participated in the inaugural Antiracism Institute cohort.

Research Interests
Dr. Farman's research bridges media effects, advertising, and technology with emphasis on digital platforms. Her dissertation examined behaviorally targeted Facebook ads, and her industry background informs investigations into influencer marketing efficacy and psychological impacts of social media advertising. She explores intersections of consumer behavior, algorithmic targeting, and campaign measurement in contemporary digital ecosystems.

She actively mentors students in campaign development and media analytics through the Integrated Marketing Communications Lab.
