Lisa D. Beasley

Lisa D. Beasley, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, AFN-C is an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Community and Global Partnerships at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Nursing. She practices at the Wilder Youth Development Center, focusing on primary and forensic nursing care for male youth aged 14-18.

Beasley integrates nursing students into her community-focused health initiatives.

Beasley previously worked in radio for 18 years and currently hosts the podcasts "That's Healthful" (addressing rural and vulnerable populations) and "Nurses Unboxed" (highlighting innovative nursing work).
