Tracy D. McClinton

Tracy D. McClinton, DNP, AG-ACNP-BC, APRN, is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Nursing. She is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and serves as president-elect of the UTHSC Faculty Senate.

Professional Expertise: With over 25 years of critical care nursing experience since 1999, Dr. McClinton specializes in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Palliative Care. Her clinical background includes hospitalist roles at Methodist LeBonheur North Hospital and infectious disease practice at Infectious Disease Associates of Memphis. She actively shapes nursing policy through board positions with the Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association and American Association of Critical Care Nurses, alongside membership in the Hospice and Palliative Nurses’ Association.
