Lisa Coons is an Associate Professor of Composition and Technology at the Irving S. Gilmore School of Music, Western Michigan University. She specializes in noise composition, sound art, and innovative instrument design using salvaged materials. Her work bridges acoustic and electronic mediums, including collaborations with ensembles like Dither Electric Guitar Quartet and Iktus Percussion Quartet.
