Juraj Kojš is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, combining roles as an artist, researcher, and educator. He directs the Foundation for Emerging Technologies and Arts (FETA), and holds a Ph.D. in Composition and Computer Technologies from the University of Virginia. His teaching spans institutions including Yale, Stanford, and Aalborg University.

During the pandemic, he created Listening to the World in the Time of Pandemic: One Minute at 7AM, a series of daily audio recordings capturing ambient sounds. His research articles appear in journals like Organized Sound and Computer Music Journal.
Professional affiliations include grants from Meet the Composer and Harvestworks, alongside collaborations with ensembles like the Atticus Brass Quintet and IKTUS Percussion Quartet.
