Dr. Lisa-Alexandra Henke is a Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Koblenz, a position she assumed in April 2024. Previously, she served as a research associate in the Sociology of Knowledge and Education group at the Institute of Sociology, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 2017 to 2024.
She completed her interdisciplinary doctorate in sociology and philosophy in 2023 with a thesis on the human dimensions of care. Her academic foundation includes studies in philosophy, German literature and linguistics, and educational sciences.
Her research spans Philosophical Anthropology, Phenomenology (particularly body phenomenology), Feminist Philosophy, Sociology of Knowledge and Education, and Gender Studies. Current work focuses on theoretical-empirical analysis of gender-related attitudes among learners and teachers, examining how preconceptions manifest in educational contexts through the Bildersturm project.
