Lisa A. Cooper is a Professor at Johns Hopkins University, holding appointments in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health. She serves as the James F. Fries Professor of Medicine and Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Equity in Health and Health Care. As founding director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Equity and director of the Urban Health Institute, she leads transdisciplinary teams addressing racial and income disparities through clinical trials and community partnerships.
