Linnéa Therese Dimitriou is a practising visual artist and part-time Lecturer at the Umeå Institute of Design (UID), part of Umeå University. She specializes in life drawing courses and maintains an active artistic practice focused on sculpture, painting, and hybrid forms. Her academic roles include teaching Life Drawing 1 and 2, emphasizing observational techniques and art historical contexts.
Education: MFA from Glasgow School of Art and BA (Hons) in Art & Design from Northumbria University.
Research interests span formal aesthetics (composition, color, texture) and philosophical themes like perception, otherness, and agency, often engaging with art historical dialogues. Her artistic work has been exhibited internationally, including solo shows at Sculpture2052 (Singapore, 2024) and Galleri Alva (Umeå, 2023).
