Linh X D Nguyen is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Leicester School of Business, holding a PhD in Finance and Risk from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling, and a BSc in International Finance from FTU, Vietnam. With prior industry experience in auditing, investment, and banking, she bridges academic theory with financial sector practice.
Her educational qualifications include:

Her research centers on asset pricing, volatility modelling, risk connectedness, and sustainability within financial systems, with publications in ABS 3/ABDC A* journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance and Annals of Operations Research. She actively presents at premier conferences such as the European Financial Management Association Annual Meeting and Royal Economic Society Symposium, while serving as a reviewer for leading finance journals like the European Journal of Finance.

As Programme Lead for BSc Accounting and Finance, BSc Finance, and BSc Accounting programs, she shapes curriculum development and student mentorship. She co-founded the university's Women’s Inspiration Network to advance gender equity and serves as Deputy Director of the Finance and Banking Network (FBNet) under the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Global, driving international academic collaboration.
