Dr. Kim Nguyen is a Lecturer in Economics at the School of Economics, University of Sheffield. She joined in 2024 after serving as Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Banking and Finance at the University of Lincoln. Her research focuses on behavioural economics and finance, sustainability, fintech, and gender inequality.
- Education: PhD in Finance and Risk (University of Nottingham), MSc in International Financial Markets (University of Southampton), BSc in Banking and Finance (Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking)
Her current projects examine risk-shifting behavior, anchoring bias, ESG investment, fintech, and financial literacy. She has secured grants from the British Council, British Academy, and Vietnam's NAFOSTED, and contributes to initiatives like the Principles for Responsible Management Education.
Key publications address financial inclusion in ASEAN, behavioral interventions in sustainability education, and herding dynamics in social trading platforms. She reviews for leading journals including the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization and Journal of Business Ethics.
