Lingling He is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law and Justice at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). She holds qualifications including LLB from Zhongnan University (2004), two LLM degrees from Western Sydney University (2010), and a PhD in Law (2013). Her expertise spans international trade law, WTO-related issues, China-Australia trade relations, and dispute settlement mechanisms.
Her research focuses on anti-dumping measures, bilateral trade agreements, and state-owned enterprises' investment regulation. Notable contributions include analyses of the Australia-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiation process and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. She has also explored the role of democracy clauses in regional trade treaties and the impact of national security interests on foreign direct investment during crises like the pandemic.
Teaching responsibilities include Contract Law and International Trade Law. Her scholarship bridges legal frameworks with geopolitical economic dynamics, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. She has supervised doctoral research on comparative analysis of judicial independence mechanisms across European Union, Mercosur, and ASEAN trade treaties.
