Ling Qian

Professor Ling Qian is a Professor of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Director of the Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Flow Analysis (CMMFA) at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). His research focuses on computational modeling of water and air flow interactions with structures, with applications in offshore, ocean, and aerospace engineering. He leads projects funded by EPSRC and other bodies, with a focus on numerical wave tank (NWT) software for coastal and ocean engineering, particularly offshore renewable energy systems.
