Lindsey Watson

Lindsey Watson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education within the School of Business, Education and Law at the University of Huddersfield. She leads the BA (Hons) Childhood Studies program and is a member of the Huddersfield Centre for Research in Education and Society (HudCRES). Her academic work integrates teaching, research, and leadership in early childhood education and digital ethics.

Research Interests: Lindsey specializes in ethical and creative methodologies for researching with children, with a strong focus on digital identities, online safety, and children's voices in research. She employs phenomenological and narrative approaches, particularly using storytelling and role-play to explore younger children’s understanding of digital environments.
