Lindsey Frost

Dr. Lindsey Frost is a Junior Research Fellow in Aquatic Ecology at the University of New England's School of Environmental and Rural Science. Her research investigates ecological outcomes of environmental watering in the Murray-Darling Basin, focusing on trophic dynamics and energy transfer in freshwater ecosystems.

Primary research examines how managed flows influence aquatic food webs, particularly energy pathways from basal resources to top predators like Murray cod. Current projects analyze hydroperiod effects on wetland productivity and optimal water allocation strategies. Methodological expertise includes fatty acid trophic markers, mesocosm experiments, and landscape-scale ecological assessments.
