Dr. Lindsay Leigh is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the MSOT Weekend program at Shenandoah University's School of Health Professions. She holds a Post-Professional OTD (2023) and M.S. in Occupational Therapy (2011) from Shenandoah University, and a B.S. in Psychology (2010) from the same institution.
Her research expertise spans Aging in Place specialization, Dementia and Neurodegenerative Care interventions, Women's Health (fertility/pregnancy support), and Occupational Balance optimization. She utilizes evidence-based practices to enhance functional independence across lifespans.
With 13+ years of clinical experience spanning infant to geriatric care, Dr. Leigh mentors future occupational therapists through innovative pedagogy. Her scholarly work includes conference presentations at the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association and American Occupational Therapy Association.
