Lindsay Kate Brown is an Assistant Professor of Voice at Louisiana State University's School of Music. A distinguished mezzo-soprano, she has performed with prestigious institutions including The Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and Santa Fe Opera. Her recent roles include Third Maidservant/Klytänestra cover in Strauss' Elektra at The Dallas Opera, Wellgunde in Wagner's Das Rheingold, and alto soloist performances in Mozart's Requiem and Verdi's Requiem.

As a concert performer, she specializes in works by Bach, Mozart, Mahler, and contemporary composers. Her art song repertoire includes Mahler's Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder, and Tchaikovsky's songs. She made her conducting debut with Syracuse Opera and Tri-Cities Opera in 2023.
