Dr. Lindsay Broadbent is a Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, affiliated with the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. Her current research focuses on immune responses to respiratory viruses like influenza and their impact on lung damage, supported by a Wellcome Trust ISSF Fellowship. She specializes in virology, respiratory diseases, and pandemic response mechanisms.
