Professor Ultan Power is a leading academic in Molecular Virology at Queen's University Belfast's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, affiliated with the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. His research focuses on respiratory viruses, particularly RSV pathogenesis and vaccine development. He has secured substantial grants, including a UKRI grant for £300k to study antiviral drugs against SARS-CoV-2.
