Lindsay Aikman is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Plymouth, School of Psychology, where she serves as Academic Lead on the Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAPs) MSc Programme and Lecturer in Clinical Psychology. Her work focuses on clinical psychology training, with a strong emphasis on compassion-focused therapy, multidisciplinary team functioning, and clinical leadership in inpatient and acute settings.
In her teaching role, Lindsay leads the Year 3 Academic Module for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and facilitates reflective practice, supervision, and service improvement initiatives.
