Linden Elizabeth Higgins is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biology at the University of Vermont (UVM). Her work focuses on improving STEM education for adult learners and refining teaching methodologies in higher education. She holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from UVM.

Higgins also studies the ecological behavior of Nephila clavipes spiders, integrating fieldwork and student-led projects in Mexico.
