Dr. Linda Van Netten Blimke is an Associate Professor in the Department of Literature and Language at Concordia University of Edmonton, specializing in eighteenth-century British literature and women’s travel writing. Her research focuses on the intersections of gender, revolution, and travel narratives during the late 1700s. She has authored a forthcoming book on female sentimental travelogues and co-edited Hope Hook’s Diary. She teaches Victorian literature, critical theory, and composition, and received the 2012 Faculty of Arts Graduate Teaching Award from the University of Alberta.
