Dr. Linda Tip is a Research Fellow at the University of Sussex, specializing in social psychology with a focus on intergroup relations, refugee integration, and acculturation processes. She leads an ESRC-funded multidisciplinary project investigating refugee resettlement outcomes in the UK through the Gateway Protection Programme, collaborating with experts in Geography, Education, and Psychology across Brighton, Greater Manchester, and Norwich.
Her research portfolio examines:
- Acculturation dynamics between majority and minority groups
- Psychological well-being and self-efficacy in refugees
- Impact of language skills and social contact on integration
- Cross-cultural differences in virtues and intergroup attitudes
