Linda Scott is the DP World Chair for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School. Her work focuses on market-based solutions for women's economic empowerment in developing countries, with a notable contribution being the 'Double X Economy' research. She teaches the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Entrepreneurship Programme, collaborates globally on gender-focused initiatives, and contributes to the Association for Consumer Research. She is also a member of the US Department of State’s International Council on Women’s Business Leadership.

Scott leads initiatives like the Oxford Forum for Women in the World Economy and collaborates with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. She has produced grant applications for projects in Africa and Latin America and co-founded the Jita initiative in Bangladesh, which studies women’s household decision-making and economic practices.
