Linda L. Price is the Dick and Maggie Scarlett Chair of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing at the University of Wyoming. With over 29,500 citations and an h-index of 52, she is a leading scholar in consumer research and marketing. Her distinguished career includes serving as Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research and President of the Association for Consumer Research.

Research explores consumer practices, rituals, narratives, and experiences; consumer identity and transformation; market networks; and sustainability. She introduced seminal concepts including the Market Maven, Commercial Friendships, and Fresh Start Mindset. Methodologically, she pioneers mixed-method approaches combining qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Honors include the AMA-Irwin-McGraw-Hill Distinguished Marketing Educator Award (highest disciplinary honor), Fellow status in both ACR and AMA, and the University of Wyoming Distinguished Alumni Award. She has chaired 16 doctoral dissertations and continues to mentor emerging scholars.
